.177 vs .22 debate solved by yours truly

reading back my last post I had a :idea:
the real reason .177 is regarded as more accurate than .22 is- wait for it, ta da ra dad dad dad dahhhh
.177 pellets are smaller ergo the groupings are smaller :ugeek:

now to solve the debate of which calbre to use. well if your rifle has a barrel with a bore of 220 thou of an inch, i would suggest you use .22, if however yours has a bore of 177 thou of an inch .177 would be of more use.

If your rifle has a barrel with a bore of 220 thou of an inch,then use pellets with a diameter of 177 thou of an inch, there will be less friction losses. :o :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

I shoot .22 mainly because I can pick the pellets up easier!
