s510 air tube lengths

Wed Jan 13, 2016 8:10 pm

Hi folks, are the air tubes on the early 510s smaller in length? The cylinder on my 510 carbine is the same length as my s400 classic, have seen images of 510s with the cylinder that looks more like the one fitted to the 410ks, anyone with any info on this? Thanks.

The s510 that I bought new about 5 years ago came with the shorter 300mm carbine cylinder tube, which I upgraded to the longer 400mm Classic cylinder tube.

However I believe that now all the s510's now come with the 400mm cylinder tube from new.
Not sure when this was changed but it was a good decision I think, as many people were retro fitting the classic cylinders and it does nothing but improve the looks, balance, shot count and consistency

But just to confuse things, the HFT 500 comes with a 480mm cylinder tube.
