What do these crinkle washers in trigger unit do?

They reduce side-to-side play on the trigger. This makes the whole experience of trigger release a lot better.

I find all kinds of release are improved without side to side slack.

My s400 not got any rubber washers or anything in when i opened up side plate to fit new trigger,should it have some form of washer on pins were the sears fit?

No! The newer trigger chassis have built in bushes, whereas the older chassis had o rings. Many folk remove the o rings and fit crinkle washers.

Hi,
Can I get crinkle washers to fit my ProSport? Currently, there is just over 2mm of side to side movement at the tip of the trigger blade. AA say "there is nothing to be concerned about". That's as maybe, but it just doesn't feel right for a quality springer. Presumably, if I can get washers that fit, I just tap out the pivot pin, insert the washes and replace the pin? I just hope the movement is not due to pivot wear. I somehow doubt it, as it's been like it since new.
