S400 v S200
I own both and think i know which I prefer, what's your opinions chaps ?
Re: S400 v S200
I only have the S400 carbine, with a Rowan manual multi shot.
Me! I love it, its so easy to shoot with.......maybe I will change my view after buying a few more air rifles!!

Horses for courses ....
Certain things the S200 can do that the S400 cant .... like the beautiful barrel, the weight, the size, the cost, no flip-flop barrel band ....
Certain things the S400 can do that the S200 cant .... like shot count, looks (subjective of course - some twisted folks like me love the S200), better trigger out the box ....
But fit a regulator to the S200, tune the trigger, customize the look and it starts to beat the S400 pants down

Not had much experience with the 400 series but the skinny barrel and overall size with a silencer is a big no no to me, shot count doesn't matter, looks don't matter.
S200 is handier and as Raj says can be improved easily so it gets my vote.

Re: S400 v S200
I've owned an S400 in .22 (briefly, admittedly) and an S410 in the superior calibre
on the basis of that experience I would vote for the S200 as for some reason I never really "gelled" with the aforementioned rifles. Don't get me wrong the 410 was a lovely gun I just never found it as instinctively pointable as my R10, I suppose as has been stated above it all comes down to how a particular gun fits you, how it balances in your hands and what your particular requirements are

Re: S400 v S200
For all the reasons raj says above I believe the s200 beats the s400 hands down.
However I have put a reg in mine and tuned the trigger.
That being said, the better quality barrel on the MPR makes the s400 design a much better rifle all together.
I rate my slightly tuned but unregged MPR as better than my regged s200 for all round accuracy and ease of use, but the s200 is by far a better rifle than a standard s400

Re: S400 v S200
I managed to get an early S200 ( two part stock) ever since I have thought maybe I should upgrade! Then I hit a big problem I cannot find something that suits me better? So I have to say S200

Cheers chaps for your opinions
If only AA would do something about the bloody skinny barrels on the 400,imo it then would be perfect, mine fits me so well. My S200 is more accurate, but doesn't feel so comfortable in the shoulder.
