Adjust sight or barrel after a knock

My S510 extra slipped out of my hand last night and took a slight knock on the end of the barrel. When I took a few shots with it later, it was shooting about 3" left at 20yrds. Should I correct it by re zeroing the sight, or slacking off the shroud support and nudging the barrel back to correct some of it, before zeroing?

If you can see the barrel is misaligned you need to do something about it. But its mare than likely the scope needs reseting correctly.

Barrel isn't obviously out, so I'll crack on and re zero, thanks

On an S4*0 series you would slacken the grub screws that hold the barrel band and then let the barrel spring back. It only needs a small change here to make a massive difference at 25 yards. Don't forget to nip them back up.

1mm at the clamp equates to 3" at the target.

was only able to release one of the Allen nuts, someone had already butchered the other one! Anyway I'll have a go see if it made any difference. I'd already rezeroed, so when I get a few shots tomorrow, it'll tell me if the barrel was off or not

Seems like the barrel must've taken a nudge, the scope needed moved the opposite of the amount of wind age I'd applied first time round . I just love the accuracy of the gun and scope combo, in today's gales, I had a 10p grouping of 10 shots at 25 yards.
