FTP900 BUILD

I have had a FTP900 2 months now and I have found screws working free the 4mm grub screw that keeps the air stripper in place .
Not to bad but the next one is a bitch.
4mm grub screw under the front of the loading bolt worked free stopping the cocking of the gun, being under the bolt getting a allen key to said screw is a bitch as it needs a short key to get between the bolt and the breech block had to cut one down in the field not the best of jobs but got there in the end.
What will fall apart next
This gun is Air Arms flag ship and the can not screw the together, what would it take to put some thread seal on the screws to stop them unwinding themselves.

think you must be unlucky with yours ive hade mine about six months now and the only thing ive had is the little extender bit on the butthook broke, told aa about it and they sent a free one to replace it. dont no about you but mine shoots bang on and has helped me get a place in the field target intterigernals in april

IT shoots pellet on pellet at 55yd just saying grub screws should not unscrew on there own . this poor build quality .
you would not buy a BMW and be happy if gear knob came of in your hand .
So why would I be happy if screws unscrewed them self stopping the gun cocking

I would inform Air Arms about your problem.

At least then they could look into it and ensure that others don't suffer from the same problem. If they don't know then there's little they can do about it.

did it first thing this morning.
Still say there build quality is naff.
this is the best gun they make and they still can not build it at 100%.
I had the same crap with the shamal when they first came out had to rebuild it.

Dont make comparisons to cars, they are the worse item for faults, even the ones you think are quality are all mass produced to keep cost's acceptable, your rifle came with a warranty to protect the end user from manufacturer defect, use it, and accept you have a mass produced item just like a washing machine or television
nice rifle though and apart from the minor faults i hope your happy with it

The GUN shoots spot on till it unscrewed itself, its a recoil less gun yet grub screws come lose .
A dot of torque seal would stop them working lose.
why let a boat sink for a 1p of tar.
UP the build quality which would improve reliable working of the guns.
