MTC newest scope range.

Mon Nov 02, 2015 7:24 pm

I think most of us have owned and still using an MTC SCOPE on the rifles, I remember the old days when Sammie owned the Business they sold it a few years back.
There has been new range of scopes added to the range EVX range the reticule looks amazing maybe a little busy for some very Tactical excellent long range capability from this new reticule loads of holdover marks for extreme long range plinking.

They have also change the website it's had a make- over, see the new website and new EVX range of scope's bellow and the long range reticule.... :)

Clicky on link bellow... :)

Nah I haven't Mick. Not a fan of MTC tbh whoever's auspices they under. I know a lot like bigger scopes to compensate for deficiencies elsewhere ;)

Does anybody know what the reticle looks like on the new EVX scopes and if they have retained the SCB Christmas tree type reticle? Thanks

I still like the MTC scopes I have but my last experience of their customer services (since Daystate took over) was absolutely dire.
I believe it was around 10 weeks to replace a scope under warranty, even then I was constantly on the phone to both MTC and BAR before it got sorted.

We all like a good deal or quality / price relationship as the French refer to it but, customer service is so important. After using exclusively Leica M cameras for my adult life I recently purchased an Olympus camera, mainly to benefit from zoom lense capabilities. After suffering several firmware update glitches I wrote a polite but, firm letter to Olympus HQ in Japan expressing my frustrations (thought it best not to mention my past friendship with Michael Woodford ;) ).
The response.... a new camera body delivered at their cost and an unconditional repair or exchange foc 10 year warranty, that impressed me I have to say.

If we're off the subject of scopes and onto customer service, buy a Samsung TV. Mine was 4 years old when the power supply blew, I rang Samsung UK at 5pm on a Saturday and a nice man asked for the serial number, model and problem, he then asked if I bought an extended warranty, which I hadn't.
Verdict... "It's our fault, Martin Dawes will be with you on Monday to replace the capacitors, for free. Is there anything else we can help with"?
"Well, actually, my Samsung fridge freezer seems to have frosted up."
"No problem, the drain is blocked, we were supplied with the wrong grade of poly pipe, we will rectify that too."

I have no complaints.

As for superb customer service, Falcon optics have excellent after sales service. I can't stress enough how Quickly, professionally this was handled... WOW!

I noticed some dirt inside the reticle on one of my falcon scopes, although still usable just annoying, so I contacted falcon optics there response was take a photo of the serial No and the scope and email it too them at falcon optics with My address, 2,days later a brand new better model scope arrived at my door with a note saying, we are sorry your scope was due in stock at later date. However, we have sent you our band new model with upgraded everything and more magnification although, same weight and size scope with better glass clarity.. WOW!

Thank you so much Falcon Optics... :D your after sales service is astonishing, and indeed superb.
