So finally I have bought a ftp900. I have waited specially to buy one not only for the teething problems to be found and sorted but for a string of reviews.I have found that people are free floating them and there is mixed reviews about this, can someone please shed some light on yhis

If you have a look on STB you will find that approx 75% of owners (who participated in the poll on this topic) have done so, my observations in the FT world here in France, Spain and Italy would indicate that most do.

Hi i have floated mine simply by removing the barrel shrouds and the center support bracket and this seems to have cured the zero shift. It is my firm belief that all 900's that are required to shoot consistently without zero shift must be floated. otherwise a fantastic rifle. enjoy
