s200 Indexing problems

Sat Feb 21, 2015 5:01 pm

Hi when I had the AA s400 I only used RWS Superdome in .22,with the Rowan Engineering 6 shot Magazine and never any trouble, then after changing to a s200 found with the 10 shot Magazine using the RWS ,I was getting a lot of miss firing, also with the RWS Super-H-Point in .22,Went down to Steve in Tiraberth, and found out it was the RWS pellets, Tried Air Arms Diablo field .22 and no Miss firing, thats your Problem Steve said so I have used them ever since,So today out of curio I decided to retry the RWS and the problem was back many miss fires because the Magazine was not indexing,Any one else found this problem

Not had the same problem because I've never tried them in the S200!
I did put superdomes through the Prosport and found they were ok at short range but useless otherwise because they drop so quickly compared to JSB or AA Fields. Never tried H points either. Fields for me, accurate and fast at all ranges.

Yes ... I had the same issue with RWS - I still have 3/4 tin that I cant see myself using anymore as they are tight.

can i just say, never had an `indexing` problem with my 200 after it got loaded with god knows how many pellets, when someone, curiuously `indexing` it forced me to remove the 10 shot thingamawhotsit!
ok, bit fiddly loading it now, but no biggy, just fill, load, shoot, (kill  )

great pellets that they were :D sadly they've had their day :(
although they didnt have the best bc, and the fact that they were waisted, causing them to be affected by the wind more than a smooth pellet, they were a very accurate pellet in a very high % of barrels.
always worth bearing in mind, that if you set the power of your gun to 11ft/lbs with rws superdomes, then theres a big chance it'll be over the limit with the more efficient pellets on the market ;)
they seem to be having a bit of a revival recently, although i suspect this is due to price
