s410 snags

Tue Oct 13, 2015 5:57 pm

Here goes. I purchased an 2005 s410 as a project a few months ago. Since then I have replaced all seals and gave it a Polish. The power is good according to my combro, however the thing just won't zero. (Itts not the operator I promise!) The point of impact changes at 25 yards wildly to each side of the point of aim. Elevation stays perfect. I have checked the main stock screw isn't over tightened, the barrel has been cleaned and approx 100 pellets put through. I'm using the same batch of pellets. I'm getting to the point of taking it to a gunsmith, which I don't want to do as it seems a 'simple' project. Any help will be greatly appreciated. (Honestly not the firer) ☺
Cheers in advance.

I never though about the scope as it's quite new, however.....
What do I need to do with the band and seal? They are both new?
Sorry to seem a little special. I'm new to this.

Undo the two grub screws on the band and let the barrel centre itself then do them up, check the o ring too.

Re the scope. If you can, try another one on there

I have the original kicking around. I will try that when I'm off work next week. Cheers for the ideas, they are greatly received.
