Air Arms Q tec for s200?
Recently got back into target shooting, i have a air arms s200 with a silencer on however i want it to be as quiet as possible and am looking into the qtec by air arms. If so which one and where can i purchase one? also are there any other competitive silencers which will perform as well?
Re: Air Arms Q tec for s200?
Buy a S200 to 1/2"adapter then put a HW moderator on it cheaper and more quiet than the q-tec.

I've an HW silencer fitted to my 200, quiet as a mouses fart & backed up by Zippy on this forum (& he knows a thing or two) most other members who chipped in to an old post of mine reckoned most if not all worked, my 3 different makes (HW, QGS & Whisper) all work rather well on my 3 different rifles, you pays your money my friend!

Read this with a degree of interest. Before I waffle on, try this Hogan - DecimEater. It's around the same price if not a little cheaper than HW mod and, according to other "knowledgeable" souls, as quiet if not more quieter than the Weihrauch offering.
Now, as I have not got a clue how to open a topic here, here goes,
I want to buy an Air Arms S400 classic, bloody difficult as I keep getting messed. I found a gun shop in Wakefield by accident and again handled the S400F which I found too light. A young lad showed me a 200 with a regulator??? and a decent scope a Mk3 job for a reasonable £315.00. I sloped off to have a beer and lunch to ponder. Jesus H Christ, it hurt my headThe last gobful of bitter and I decided to but the S200 in .177. What a beautiful gun. However, I am a big guy and loading the lead is a nightmare, yes I know I can get the mag conversion but i figured I'd never be quite right with it. A phone call to said establishment & it was agreed I'd return the 200 order a new 400 classic and pay the difference. Now I have doubts about the 400. People, is it a good 'un? It's my first pcp and my head is in turmoil. I have a Weihrauch HW35 springer, a beautiful beautiful gun. Will the AA 400 classic be up there with HW's offering?

I've a Qtec on my cz200 and its ok. Nothing amazing or poor but ok.
Regarding the question on the S400, I'd say its the best all round pcp there is, thats how much I rate them. Instead of feeling like you need to justify buying it or whether you have done the right thing you should be feeling privileged to be lucky enough to own such a fine rifle.
