Had a visit

Received a phone call from an Armed Response Unit last night
. He asked if I would mind them coming to check my guns and security.
They turned up about half an hour later, very pleasant and in a fully marked 4x4 wearing all their body armour.
Checked my guns and cabinet, pity they did not take my certificates in for the address change I have been waiting 16 months for

Ming and I had a visit from not one but 2x ARVs when we were clearing bunnies from the Anglian Windows Social club in Norwich. They stayed on to have gos on the rifle ...
Some one had called them from the airport nearby to say a 6'6" Kraut and an Asian were walking around the undergrowth with scoped rifles

Totally illegal behavior and you could have refused.
I thought this had stopped after BASC kicked off!

Suprise today, when I got home from work. FAC and Shotgun Cert landed on the mat today with my new address
, FAC is still closed though, thought they would open it after two years
. Never mind, I'm a happy bunny, the visit must have been to do with my address change last year.

Should be on experience but every force is different, took me 2 years for mine on all calibers.
Doing my DSC1 helped though.
Just bought a .243 and hopefully a FAC air so finally get to do some shooting after a year with no rifles!
