Is there anywhere that shows how to strip and polish the sears on a Tx 200 hc ???

Be very careful not to round off any of the edges!, to be frank unless you are feeling some real grittiness or other issue I would not personally bother, but, have been there and done it several times. Wash all the factory grease out , let dry and then just a tiny bit of oil / lube. Time better spent setting up the trigger (or just target practise!) to your preferences (1st / 2nd pull stage length and weight) it takes time but, the end result is well worth it.

The black plates do not come apart. Thought I would mention this as one of the above posts said yes. The very first TX's had screws that held the plates together, but they are riveted together since around 1991. My oldest MarkI TX is serial #00321 and is riveted, but a friend owns serial #00322 and it is held together with screws, go figure.
