Customer service from MTC/Daystate.

Fri Aug 07, 2015 10:38 am

Well as reported about 5 or 6 weeks ago one of my mamba lites developed a problem so was returned to MTC via BAR for a warranty repair. I made another call to BAR this morning to chase it up and they still haven't got my scope back from MTC yet. What a difference compared to the level of service we got from Gary and Sammie!
I was intending to treat myself to a new rifle and top it with another MTC scope but not any more, I'll look for something else.
Sadly the good name of MTC seems to be slipping since they were taken over.

I had an issue with a Mamba Lite about a month ago, called in at Daystate/MTC as I was working nearby, came out 10 mins later with a brand new boxed scope. It really is a fact that customer service in this country is a lottery.

I'd been told that my scope was being repaired, however, now I've got a bit of a bee in my bonnet because I contacted MTC and discovered that actually I'm getting a new scope which will be sent via BAR on Monday. 6 weeks to decide to send a replacement!
I'll be glad to get a new scope but the timescale to get this sorted is bloody disgusting.

Guess what? Still no bloody scope.
So it looks like the bloke I talked to at MTC didn't send the scope to BAR as promised last Monday, or if he did BAR know nothing about it. I feel aggrieved that I've had to do the ringing around to find out instead of someone letting me know. I'm more than a little pissed off that it appears that I have been lied to.
The scope was posted off on the 20/06/15 and it's now mid august.
Time to start spreading the word about shoddy service I think.
