				Spring compression, how long?

				Hi All,
I get a bit concerned while I'm out hunting. If I leave my rifle cocked for too long, will it affect the spring rate? Am I being a little paranoid?
What would be a general rule of thumb?
I have a TX200 HC and a ProSport.

As long as you like, it makes virtually no difference.

Standard AA springs are fine, other springs ie my titan spring suffered after leaving it cocked

Thanks for the replies, it was just a thought as the springs must be getting almost coil bound.

Just make sure it has enough lube/grease so that it doesn't get hot on compression
