Does anyone know what sort of quality are the mounts they give free with the scopes.
Iv used Hawke and Sportsmatch without any problems.
I just wondered what the MTC mounts are like

They were ok until you could get some proper ones

so are you saying they are not all that then..

They were hit and miss. Not long ago they were taken over and may well be a better quality. If you do get a decent one its a bonus.
Some look great in silver

Just spotted this on another forum.
I just checked the MTC Mounts that came with my MTC Mamba.
They are worse than the ones in the informative link.
Iv just bought some Sportsmatch which are spot on.

My findings were quite shocking,good job i checked them.I wouldnt have hit a barn door with those..lol
