Sears

Am I correct in saying that some of the pre anti tamper s400/s410 only had two Sears in the triggers and would they benefit from having crinkle washers fitted

Yep, mine is a two sear config. As to whether youd benefit from the crinkle washers, it depends purely on your trigger feels really. It is a decent little mod to do, so I'd say yes, in my case it was worth doing.

Mine has 3 Sears but also, the cover is moulded so as to take up the space occupied by either washers or O Rings. Personally I think it's a cracking little trigger unit, and that's comparing it to my Anschutz trigger on the Rapid.

If you have donut o'rings they can be replaced by the crinkly washers. You will then have less drag whilst keeping the sears flat and true.
The later plates have a raised areas instead.

Raised areas, that's what I meant. There was also an American PDF where the writer used tiny plastic washers from a model railway supplier. I will try to attach it to the next post.
