Re: PROSPORT BEST POWER!
Iv been shooting mine at 10.6 for a while.
But after a strip and rebuild, shes now doing 11.6.
Im leaving her at that and testing her at my club saturday. If its too much il drop her down.
I just wondered what others are finding to be a happy medium!

Re: PROSPORT BEST POWER!
They'll run sweet anywhere from 10.5 - 11.4 when they'll often get just a bit too harsh. Like many springers the lower the power the better behaved they are.
If you're using standard springs you really need to try a variety of pellets from Falcon accuracy plus lightweights up to JSB exact or AA Fields to see which feels best in the shot cycle. AA field express are supposed to be good but I haven't tried them, I refuse to pay silly money for pellets.

My AA Prosports have not been modified and are as they were right out of the box. I shoot 14.0 foot pounds with the .177 using AA Diablo Fields. I get 12.7 ft lbs with the .22 using AA Falcons. I live in the USA.
BTW I find them very accurate between 10 and 30 meters. They shoot so well that I don't have to use the artillery hold but can rest them directly on a rest. The location of the stock on the rest and consistent technique are very important and must be consistent for me to maintain above mentioned accuracy.

Do you shoot out at further ranges? I rest my .177 directly in padded sticks, always with the forward stockbolts in line with the V of the sticks for best results, my thumb always rests on the bolthead when shooting freehand or off the knee so the balance is always constant.

Sounds like 10.5 -11.04 is min to max then.

Thirty meters is the length of my backyard. So, no, I don't shoot longer distances than that. My .177 will hit the target accurately at 30 m. MY .22 needs aiming about 3/4 of an inch higher at that distance.
