Hi all
I know we all have our "ultimate" scopes, but i was wondering which scope do YOU think is the easiest scope to use for hunting.
I have an MTC viper 4x24x56IRS on my S410, and a Hawke airmax 5.5x16x44 on my axsor gemini.
The MTC has better glass quality but i find the Hawke is easer to use when out hunting.
Cheers
Kevin

Re: Easiest scope to use
As every bodies eyes are different the answer is the one you find easiest!
Depending on the range and light situation it can be a small fixed mag upto a big mag zoom!

Re: Easiest scope to use
I normally have Mamba lites with the SCB reticle on both rifles and love them, but recently I put an old Map pro with the Map 6 reticle on the Prosport and I admit I do like the simplicity. Not so many aimpoints but for hunting it's simple and effective.
Re: Easiest scope to use
Depends what you are hunting. If it is close quarters ratting, a basic 3-9x40 will do fine. If it is rabbits or pigeon over a range of distances, a 10x42 fixed mag is what I have settled with. The TAC 30 with side wheel range finding parallax was most useful when I whacked 18 feral pigeons at ranges from 20 yards up to 45 yards on Sunday

The easiest scope is the one you buy, because we're all different and have different eyes,

Re: Easiest scope to use
I've gone through a few scopes and find the mixed mag mtc viper 10x44 is better sited to me for hunting.
Re: Easiest scope to use
which ever you find best and gives you good field of view .

Re: Easiest scope to use
I have the MTC connect which is a great scope to use , but i also have a couple of Hawk's which are very pointable with a wide field of veiw
with some good aim points, plus i can refer to chairgun .
You have to look through what scopes are in your price range, not forgetting the lower end ones as some like the Hawks are realy good.
