well I ended up getting my son a r10 for his birthday. after much thought and thinking about price I was looking at a few guns. went for the r10 because it has a reg. some people were saying it has problems with the mag. and others around the net were saying go for the HW100. well after putting about 300 odd shots through the gun I have to say this thing is sweet. no probs at all with the mag. and this gun puts pellet on pellet at 40 yards no probs at all. infact for pure accuracy this gun keeps up with my mk4 daystate. gun shoots like a dream. 150 shots in .177. chuck on a weihrauch silencer and you cant hear the gun. one thing I was a bit worried about when looking at the gun was the barrel. BSA make their own barrels and I was thinking can they match the walther barrels that most guns use. well I will tell you here and now. not a problem. why don't all English gun makers make their own barrels. if bsa can make a barrel this good. im sure others can. I got the gun from countryway gun shop in kent. £680 for the gun. and they knocked £30 off the scope. gave me free mounts. and 2 tins of jsb pellets. great deal for a top class gun.
