S410f left hand bolt swap

Hi
Can anyone tell me how to swap the bolt over so that it lifts up an vack as normal, also is this a big job?

Youll need to remove the breech block to do the job. If you have anti tamper fitted youll need to remove that frst.

Once you have access to the inner breech block its just a case of removing a roll pin and putting your leftie handle on.

Hi,

As others have said above re online stripdown guides/videos assuming you have no Anti-Tamper fitted. I have used this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4Srn78Pz5TA clip to demonstrate but there are others. When you get to the point shown at 7:28 into the clip

The highlighted silver pin has to be moved from one side of the slot to the other as per this photo. I think you just slide it out with some long nosed pliers It's not very clear in my photo but it's pretty obvious with the part in your hand:-

This is all it takes to make the internals now Left Handed (i.e. the bolt locks left and down.) The existing bolt handle can also be disassembled (I believe it is superglued/loctited together and with some heat can come apart). Lots of folk just buy a Rowan Left handed one though for about £27 or so.
