shot 3 would make a centurian tank driver happy, stop using your phone as a chrono and get it to someone who has a proper one, if your gun is actually shooting at 2% of that spread then that's what you need to fix first, no chance of any accuracy until you get more consistant muzzle velocity

This is getting really confusing? 5 mil dots over reduces the distance? You should be holding mil dots under to increase distance. As for the irregularities with crono readings, suggest you get it checked out or try with someone else's.

So the OP has a gun that shoots just under 700 ft lb?
Another poster has said he should be aiming 5 mil dots under to increase distance?
What on earth is going on here?

On a serious note get a chrono pronto and the gun took to a reliable gunsmith.

39 548.03 (feet per second) is 26 964miles per hour.

The speed of sound is only 760mph, so an airgun firing 35x speed of sound
That should make it obvious enough how pointless the phone app is for this purpose where a accuracy of a few fps is needed to stay within the law

The problem is that airgunners generally do not know enough about how the legislation can affect them.
The only place they can find out is Boards like this one where they can get help and assistance.
Magazines are pretty useless when even Editors don't have a clue.

It always strikes me as a little strange when people will spend hundreds of pounds on shooting gear but not £50 on a chrono to keep them legal :?

Yes im taking it back in this week getting it crono'd and reset to a proper shot string with a good shot rate. So no more erratic shots all be in well just a nice and steady shot string i will post results when i get my rifle back. And can anyone tell me of a scope for a person out off work what i could afford at the moment what will shoot 100 yards ok.I have also been looking what do you guys think of this scope Image Sniper 6-24X50 AOE R&G Crosshair has anyone had one or used one before what could tell me what there like.

It's likely to be Chinese made, if that's the ones there flogging on Amazon for £30.99 I would be very wary. Optics may be pretty rough and the reticles look pretty dire. Cheap scopes have a habit of losing zero or not returning to zero if you dial in for different ranges. AO adjustment often puts the POI out by varying amounts, higher mag settings are usually pretty bad, like looking through a milk bottle.
You may be really lucky and get a good one but it's a chance you take. It also looks to be a big heavy scope that may look daft on an S200 and will unbalance the whole thing. For 99% of shooters a scope of 3-9 or 3-12 is more than enough with front lens of 40-44.
As for 100 yard shooting, forget that! Pellet drop is so bad at that range you'll only be guessing. Concentrate on getting 5p sized groups at a range of 25-35 yards first and then move out 5 yards at a time.

Edit. Your initial problem may not be your current scope. wait until you have the rifle checked before you spend money you don't need to.

I wouldn't suggest a scope, I would suggest you take that gun & get it fixed- long before you pointed it at anything & pulled the trigger!
