Has anyone had there air arms s400/s410 barrel free floating without any issues

The barrels on the S4**'s are really a bit thin for free floating.

It can be done but I think it would invite problems.

I've just got some carbon fibre tubing to go over the barrel purely for cosmetic looks and would have preferred it in one piece rather than two,hence why I asked the question

Putting any kind of shroud/tube over the barrel will certainly give it more bulk (cosmetically) but will not strengthen the barrel where it goes into the breech block.

That will remain a weak point.

You could get a s200 barrel and machine it up to fit

I'm aware it would remain a week point,is it possible to get a barrel band with the barrel hole bigger enabling me to slide the tubing straight through?

You could use on from a 510 i would have thought.
