Has the one that comes from the stirrup pump is alot smaller than the rifle coupling. Here are the images so i hope any of you guys can help and explain on how to change the vavle on the stirrup pump so it will attatch the quick release to my rifle any help would be much appreciated thanks.

Looks like you have the larger type of quick fitting, i also have that one for my pistol but have fitted on the other end a QF (male) from best fittings as i have these
smaller type (females) on my stirrup pump and cylinder and the male ends on all my charging adaptors (except my TDR which has had the T bar removed and a best fittings valve fitted).
You can buy the full kit and replace what you have now, or just buy the adaptors and make do.
Yours looks like this http://www.bestfittings.co.uk/shopexd.asp?id=145
And what i have is this http://www.bestfittings.co.uk/shopexd.asp?id=225
