Hi Guys n Gals

Im very new to air rifle shooting, but used to shoot IPSC pistol and rifle until the firearms ban.

Ive kinda got myself addicted to HFT and Lincs HFT club, and what a great bunch they are.

Ive just bought myself a used S400 with scope, CS800 stock, Scope and charging bottle and love it. It has however had the cylinder wrapped in carbon ( Nicely ) and the barrel also, but not quite so tidy. Does anyone make a carbon shroud that would just slip over the barrel? Im sure there would be carbon tube i could get, but didnt know if anyone already made one.

Thanks

I think thats what i may have to try.

The guy i bought it off as removed the barrel band, and there is a slight bit of movement in the barrel if you catch it, but always seems to return to the same place. Is having it floating a benefit, or should i look at putting a barrel band back on?

i might be wrong but i would think the s400 barrel is a bit too flimsy to float

Think ill get a piece of the carbon tube and then get the 14mm barrel band from Rowan

Have you got enough clearance for the tube :o .
The barrel is flimsy on them so you would be wise to get the bigger band if the tube fits.

Ill have a look and see, but the barrel looks as though its about 14mm already as its got quite a few wraps of tape on
