BASC Airgun Survey

Fri Jun 05, 2015 8:28 am

Dear All,
I urge you to complete the attached survey.

Just a bit of background, the GTA (Gun Trade Association) are lobbying the Home Office to ban semi-automatic airguns such as the Steyr. If they're successful and having drawn attention to the issue the next logical step will be to ban multi-shot airguns.

The GTA are one and the same who facilitated the introduction of AT (Anti-Tamper) which many of us didn't want, not a legal requirement but unwanted interference not supported by the majority of us.

The GTA have nothing to do with supporting what's interest of the average shooter whether you're FT, HFT, hunter or pinker, they have their own agenda.

If you value your sport, what it stands for and out right to enjoy it please complete the survey, you don't have to be a member.

Done. :)
I wondered if they were canvassing for members, but you don't need to enter an email address if you don't want to enter the prize draw. Only takes a couple of minutes

When I filled out the part asking "what can BASC do for airgunners", I told them to sort the ANTI TAMPER out so that owners don't get caught with their pants down
Tell them straight

I did the same as Ray but added about standard pellets and procedures for testing and removal of "capable".
Apparently this was posted on BBS but has already been pulled. Would anyone care to start it again? I can't because I'm banned.
