Has I'm sure your aware you get a ping type noise coming from the s400/410 upon firing,is this noise coming from the spring or the cyclinder?

I'm told its resonance in the air chamber, and can be cured by fitting a de-pinger in the air cylinder. I lost most of the firing noise on my s410 after I removed the machining marks from the hammer rail and put a stainless steel hammer spring in.
I'm sure the air chamber amplifies the noise and the delrin de-pinger will have some effect but I don't think its the complete answer.
One thing I will be trying is replacing the oillite bushes in the hammer striker with PTFE bushes.

This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. Without me my rifle is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless.
