A few comments have come my way. The decision to remove a member was to protect the good name and general niceness that our forum enjoys. We must at all times respect each and everyone's views. The general vibe was that Dr B was not conducting himself in the way that earned respect. This was not about taking sides as some have said. It's not a decision I wanted to take, but felt that it was the right one.
I hope you all understand it's my job to keep things on an even keal, and most of all a high standard.

Dr B is now back with us. I must admit that I didn't read all the posts and feel that i was a little dudgemental on my part. I hope our members will allow Dr B to enjoy this site as you do. I have not taken sides...I'm just being fair.
The thread has had a tidy up,and remains open for sensible debate.
