DON`T take what any magazine review says about ANY shooting related item as gospel, if you follow the mags as I did when I got back into shooting you will end up spending loads on stuff that will end up shoved to the back of a dark shelf somewhere, as for scopes they are a personal thing, some will think a cheap scope is the dogs danglies and others look down on anything with a sub £300 price tag
the only answer I can give is find a club and look through as many as possible to give you an idea as to what may suit you, me, I use either jsr or leapers scopes and like them, just throw away the batteries if you`ve got IR, the cheapo scopes light up the whole crosshair and I find it overshadows everything in low light conditions, I have got 1 hawke scope that only lights up the centre section of the crosshair but in general I don`t like the scope

Re: Air Arms S200 Sights Problem
Thx for the reply niel some good advice there mate that is why i would rather ask people there experiences with the scopes they have had and try to buy one i have been told about. I think that is the best way to buy anything from hearing other peoples experiences with things rather than reviews. Has most of them are only telling you what the company wants you to know for there sales line nothing more. So obviously you buy things the same way i do that is why i upgraded from my springer to the airarms s200 from hearing other peoples experiences it was that or a bsa ultra multi but i know i picked the best.Even though i have had nothing but problems with it since i bought it, up till now but that will soon be the past after this week all be in well.
