1. What pellets are you using? Some of the spikyness could be due to a wide variation in pellet weight.
2. If they are not good pellets or even a bad batch of a good brand, you will get different fit to the bore (even if the weight is consistent) and that can cause FPS spread.
3. If the regulator has not bedded in - that could be a problem
4, Is the bore nice and clean .... or is it catching bits of pellet?
5. Has the hammer rail been polished and is it sliding freely ... a good test is with the rifle open, the rail should start sliding on its own when it you tilt it to about 45 degrees
6. The power is certainly aggressive. Needs toning down and that will have an immediate calming effect on the graph.

Many things that could affect he performance. But the reg. is doing its job alright ... good shot count and no power curve.

Thx for the reply guys I know it was slightly abit high I just wanted to test the reg at a different ft lbs count rather than the norm to see if the spread would be has regular has it is at just under the 12 ft lbs mark. But has you can tell it is pretty steady there is some quite high and low drops and the pellets I was using was the air arms field 8.4 grain so now I am going to leave the adjusting for the time been has I have gone through 2 tins of pellets since I started the reg installation we can allways give it that extra little tweak at the meet guys if that's ok with you thx for the replys it's been much appreciated.

Any updates on this?
I'm thinking of getting a regulator & looking at options.
Thanks,
Jim, Lincoln
