Yours might but my S410 .177 Classic doesn't.
Have a look here, select either of the S410 rows to see it's Combro shot strings

Hi,

My s410 and my friends S400 exhibit more or less the same power curves and are both standard rifles (mine has never been apart as it has anti-tamper still fitted). The S400 has had a hammer rail polish and is more consistant shot to shot but the curve is the same. Looking at other curves in the past that have been posted on forums they are pretty much the norm. If you are not getting those ball park type shotstrings then I would suspect that something is wrong and needs attention first. Don't let me put you off a reg but I suspect that you may not gain the results you are looking for. How old is the rifle? If it's got no anti-tamper it's a reasonably straightforward DIY job to replace all of the internals with factory new parts and restore its as-new working all for about £30 (bgaltd on this forum).

Ive been fitting my Lane reg to my S410 as well. Fitting is fairly straight forwards if your not bothered about getting the drill out. Getting a close setup is probably 3 dismantles if youve watched the videos. Although getting it spoton has been another few strip downs as well and I'm not there yet. I wish I'd had the bottle refilled before starting as it was only 180 to start with and frustratingly it's down to 125Bar now

Which is still 37 shots down to 75Bar on a .22 rifle running the original striker and the replacement springs with the transfer port opened to 3.5mm and restricted slightly ( probably ~0.5mm but not measured ) by adjustment screw.

But, swapping to a Diablo Field they get a bit too close to 12PDS for my liking so still some tinkering to be done and I'm thinking the striker probably needs a shave also.

Edit. Striker lightned down to 34 grams with the bushes fitted and transfer port restrictor opened fully... a couple of Diablos fired for curiosity and came out at 11.48 and 11.39, so hopefully on the money without any more fettling required.

Ive a 510.410 and 400, all classic and all .177

My results show the above graph is typical of all three, well until I regged the 400

Going to try a Alortos in the 410 soon
