Couldn't have put it better myself, and being a loyal air arms customer I could do nothing else, I think anyone who has gripes with air arms products should just go and get themselves a Gay state, I'm sure you will be perfectly happy (until the batteries run out!) or your bank statement arrives!
I'm not going to lie, there are always improvements that can be made to ANY rifle, which is half the fun, for me anyway.
One of the main reasons I like Airarms rifles is that they are simple to service and work on (once the AT has been removed) and with Julian's awesome services, parts are easily available too.
I believe that most air arms rifles are set up and designed very well for longevity when used by the "general user" , however should you wish to tune it and improve it a little for FT/HFT use then this can be simply done with great results ( otherwise what would we talk about on here all the time) (other than Raj's choice of Lycra)
I will be mostly looking out for what their methods are when stripping and rebuilding the rifles and see if there is anything I can learn that could make life easier for me.
As well as their method of removing the anti tamper screws when they get a rifle back for a service, I'm assuming that they have some special equipment that helps them do this easily without marking the rifles.
I will be certain to ask about any plans for new rifle designs or improvements planned, however I'm sure they would keep anything like that under wraps until they are ready to announce it officially.
Hopefully we will be allowed to take lots of photos and I can share them with you all on here after.
The visit is scheduled for the 2nd of February ,so watch this space.
