Im after a period AA springer as a keeper. I have the choice of a Khamsin or a Camargue.
Which one would you go for and what calibre .22 or .177

The Carmargue I`ve always liked the look of it :D

I have a couple of older side lever, tap loading AA guns. I think one is a Mistral and the other a Woodsman. These are before 2 stage triggers were introduced and I was a bit disappointed with them having owned the TX200's first. The 2 models you mention are a lot better looking than my side levers and they also probably have the upgraded triggers. You may as well get both, if you can swing it. I forgot to add that the guns are built very solidly. Another good reason to own 2 is when you open them up and lose the trigger pieces on one, you can look at the other gun to see how they go back together. I know this the hard way.

That's the guy Dan. He was selling them for a poorly friend. They are all mint...as new 8-)
I was willing to pay top dollar as well due to his health.

Oh I see I thought it odd that they come up as soon as you mentioned them.
