Hi Mark
I will have to make a note of my shot string when i next get the chance and hopefully sum1 would help me plot on a graph as its new to me.
I curtently have the gun in bits and its a discrase inside not been looked after at all so new seal kits will be put in next week
Thanks

Pay special attention to the hammer rail while apart. You want a mirror finish on it and no lube. You might also want to replace the firing/exhaust valve too. If the guns a bit tired inside its likely that there will be wear to it.
Make sure the firing/exhaust valve is spotless when it goes into the valve housing

Gave her a good clean up and got all the gunk out. The hammer is that tarnished colour but gave it a good clean.

One more thing. When you reassemble, cock the gun before filling it or you'll just get air coming out the barrel. You need to give it a quick blast of air to close the firing valve.

I read them tips on here before. I have put it all back 2geta apart from attaching stock.
filled to 180 and no leaks of air. The gun even fires
got 5 shots off at 11ish ftp
i was suprised how easy it was to strip to be honest. I plan on stripping again through week to replace seals when i order some.
Thanks for the tips

Re: s410
Sum1 mentioned if she shoots to high i should reduce the power via the hammer/spring?,
is this easy if i dont know how to do it?
i was told it could save air which adjusting the magic screw wont
Cheers

+1 for the above spot on advice.
A new firing valve is about £10 and fitting a new one to my S410 carbine resulted in a much 'flatter' power curve. Over time they can suffer from extrusion problems (search for extrusion on posts made by a chap called cloverleaf on another airgunforum for the story). All spares are available on here from bgalt and as a member you'll get 10% off spares prices

One other thing is when you come to take off the brass firing pot (nipped up by a grub screw hidden under the pressure gauge block BTW) make a note of how far it sticks out from it's alloy housing. 57mm is the usual ball park figure.
