Looking at the shape that the O ring goes because of the wide groove in the face of the magazine it acts like a gillatine. My answer was to use a tapered reamer and remove the sharp edge and provide a 'lead' so the O ring wasn't distorted and chopped.
This seems to have provided a complete cure both for him and me. A tin of pellets later and it's still intact.
I am happy, what do you think? Worth a try I reckon.
Cheers.

drop a mag in and look to see if it moves when you push the bolt home, if it does try adjusting the small grubscrew underneath to centralise it, common problem with them, I've had the AA kits on both my s200`s and have never had to replace the probe O-rings, between both guns probably gone through 40k pellets

Hello neil , not knowing a lot I was wondering if there were any differences in the O rings, my 200s is new and the O ring was very sloppy which didn't help much. Got a pack of spare ones and they were the same. Dangling out of the slot in the probe ( bolt not sure what to call it?) meant that they were cut very easily.
The magazine was adjusted very carefully and does not move at all.
Question. Are the O rings a sloppy fit?
Thank you.
Cheers.

doesn't sound right, neither of mine move at all, when I did get some spares from AA at a game fair they said its the same part for both calibres, time to give Julian a phone call or a pm I think

Hello. Well I am wondering if I have something a little different, this was new from the factory this year. Removing an end cap from the air tank then I have found that the O ring is 70% thicker, in section, than the ones supplied in a set of spare seals. Being curious I removed the other end and that was thick as well.
That, with the non fitting probe O ring as well.
I found that 2.5 X 1.5mm. fitted the probe purfectly, as I have at least 50 then I think I am well covered. The other ones I have about 30 of.
We will see.
Ta for the reply neil.
Cheers.
Geoff.
