good set up.

i am more than happy with my .177 air arms S410F carbine set up, i'm using a MTC MAMBA PRO2 3-18 x50i on sportsmatch medium mounts ,i zeroed the scope in at 35 yard's, i found with this set up i never needed much hold over if any at 50 yard's.is this the norm ,i'm used to shooting with a .22 hw100kt.i will probably use the .22 hw100 for ratting & the .177-- S410 as my main hunting rifle.

Much the same as Roger... I'll use a 30m zero and 8-9x magnification depending on pellet to give +1mil dot at 50yds.
You will notice a lot less holdover at long range than the .22.
The only thing I'd add about a 35yd zero is you will need to hold under for mid-range shots, 22-27yds... about half mil dot maximum at 23/24yds with 8-9x magnification.

no thats .177 Rog, havent shot .22 for 20 years. seem to remember from a 30 yd zero you need 2'' of holdover at 40yds with .22, so i reckon you'd need around 5'' at 50
