air cylinder/rile gauge
air cylinder/rile gauge
i just topped up my new s410F carbine to 190bar on the 300bar cylinder, checked the gauge on the rifle on the rifle & it was showing 200bar,is the gauge on the rifle not that accurate.or will the gauge on the rifle take a bit of time to settle down.i dont want to over fill it !!!!
Re: air cylinder/rile gauge
Use the gauge on the bottle, the ones on the rifles ain't always accurate
Re: air cylinder/rile gauge
Usually the gun gauges are not as accurate as the bottle gauge , as to filling most folks only fill to 170/175 bar (unless its regged) as thats usually around the start of the sweet spot.
Once you have done a full chrono string you will find your rifles sweet spot.

Re: air cylinder/rile gauge
Absolutely right - fill to the correct pressure as indicated on the bottle gauge. If you have any doubts, read what the manual has to say about the dial on the gun! AA make a point that it is not accurate and is intended only as an indicator of the state of charge of the rifle. They are known to be inaccurate and have been known to stick, though mine freed itself when I accidentally gave it a rather sudden inrush of air when charging.
