if you were gonna recommend an Air Arms to someone new to the brand,
let`s say they wanna start airgun shooting & you wanna steer them towards an AA,
or, they want to join the AAOC forum,
they think they need an AA rifle to feel they`re genuinely joining in, & add an AA to their collection, what would you advise them to buy & why?
which is the best Air Arms rifle?

Having just bought a TX200HC must vote for that.

Why be awkward, when with a bit of effort you can be really impossible!
Re: which is the best Air Arms rifle?
I'd go for the s410.
Solid reliable and well priced for the performance you get. Pound for pound the best PCP there is IMO.
Great mag system, not too heavy, exceptional, shot to shot consistency for an un-regged gun, decent shot count too etc etc etc......

Re: which is the best Air Arms rifle?
Impossible to pick one, every model has it's strongpoints and it's devotees, look at how long the basic design has been around and how many have been sold, I think first place should go to the TX and S4-- series jointly. The TX has been around a lot longer and still sells in good numbers, is virtually bombproof and easy to maintain. The S4-- is a PCP that sets standards for the rest to achieve but is now a little dated in my mind, it also has a few little foibles like skinny barrel and ridiculous safety!
Re: which is the best Air Arms rifle?
TXHC, in .177 if weight is not an issue.
Re: which is the best Air Arms rifle?
Have owned the following AA
tx200
s200
410
410 classic
Break barrel it would have to be tx,solid quality.
pcp,410 classic, quage is good, feels like a centre fire, against is its to heavy to lug round the fields.
The rifle of choice would have to be a new s200 multi shot, fits in the hand as it should with the one piece stock, against, nothing.
Fac,it has to be 510,impressed everytime we take this gem out.
