S510 custom barrel band

I have just taken off the shroud on my s510 and wondering if there is a custom bareel band out there that will now fit.
I have taken it off to fit a Rowan air stripper and at the moment I have the barrel free floating.
It looks nice as it is but just wondering if there is one out there that would fit.


I'm just waiting for a Rowan adjustable trigger to turn up and a few other bits and It will be completed.

The Rowan boys make some cracking stuff

They do but unfortunately they don't make a barrel band that fits an unshrouded s510.

Done this a couple of years ago, I asked Rowan if they were interested in making a barrel band, at the time they said that they couldn't see a market for them, I got a mate of mine to knock me up a couple and they work and look fine, maybe another go at Rowan is on the cards. Rog

Perhaps suggest to Rowan they manufacture an insert to fit their existing "shrouded" barrel band .. it would be a "simple circle" so much easier to machine up than a complete new barrel band part

You could always insert a flat rubber washer

Trouble with simple circles and flat washers is that they look shite, I know that a proper job won't impress the coneys or squizzers, but it would look a lot nicer to the eye. Plus less to knock and move your barrel out of alignment which can be a real PITA. Rog
