I recently purchased a S400f .177 Classic and I am in the process of pellet testing. Is there anyone else out there got the same rifle and what pellet do they get the best results with?
All replies appreciated.

AADF 4.52 for me, but I am getting reasonable results with JSB exact express these are a lighter pellet and maybe not so good in the wind.Rog

AADF 4.52 for me as well, also Bisley Magnums 4.52 give very tight groups.

Re: S400f .177 classic Best Pellet
Recently whilst carrying out extensive pellet testing shot Exact and Express back to back and found at 55y Express drifted less.
Can't fathom out how any different results can be obtained.
The difference was not massive and wouldn't turn a hit miss into a hit but wind drift WAS less.
Pellet weight is totally irrelevant to wind drift . The meaningful factors are ballistic coefficient and velocity.
Accuracy with all the JSB's (and AA ) have been spot on in my S410 , 200 and HW100.

Mine gets best grouping and consistency with AADF 4.52 followed closely by Weihrauch FT Extra 4.51.

Re: S400f .177 classic Best Pellet
ive done plenty of pellet testing mainly with AADF, DAYSTATE and JSB exacts all 4.52's ive measured head size, weighed etc etc Ive had good and bad batches of both and a difference as big as 50 fps between tins eg one batch of 4,52 AADF i measured at 4.49 were doing 740's fps and some JSB 4,52'S that measured 4.52 were doing 790's fps Ive measured 4.52'S from different dies that measure between 4.49 and 4.54 i thought id got it sussed out 4.52 head size is what my 400 loves and bought 16 tins of die 46 JSB's the ones that measure true 4.52 i found these gave the best grouping, consistency etc.
This theory got blown out of the water recently when i bought some AADF 4.52's die 10 measuring 4.51 just for plinking / gun and scope testing,
these grouped much better (indoor 25 yards) than die 46 JSB , more recentlygot hold of some die 54's JSB's that are the best batch ive had so far and they measure 4.50
i dont think head size is mega important i think its quality of the batch if you get a good batch from a good die that your rifle likes you’ll know just buy as many as you can when you do find some
the best thing to do is go to your local range and ask which die number is the one everybody wants at the moment and try some out they normally do test samples of each die they have in .
have fun testing

I got great grouping results from the AA diabolo fields and the JSB Exacts (which I believe is the same pellet). However, I tried the bis mags and they were horrendous. Looked like a shotgun blast. I haven't tried any more brands as I don't feel the need to.

Surprised you did not get good results with the Bis Mags as a lot of people get very good results with them.
Maybe check the head size as they come in a range of head sizes these days, they did not used to state a head size but H&N now do about three or four sizes.
Anyway, glad you found somthing that works well with your gun. ENJOY
