Please help: white powder from carbon fiber tank
Re: Please help: white powder from carbon fiber tank
Are you sure its "powder" .. the photos are a bit blurry, however looks like O2 compatible grease which we used to use to lub valve assemblies in my old Nitrox diving days

Hmm I think theyre not powder cause when I touched it, it has different texture...like wet grout but super soft..it filled the lines of my finger print.i didnt get any inside the black plastic bag...but when I tried to use dead head and bleed the valve...some of it accumulated in the base of the bleed valve as shown on picture...any ideas?

Hello everyone.
I dont want to leave the thread open..I just got a confirmation from airhog that its the valve manufacturers grease. They notice lately that the batch have a little more than normal perhaps the new assembly guy enjoys applying it. Anyway it shouldnt be a problem with the rilfe.
CASE CLOSED AND THANK YOU ALL FOR SHARING IDEAS.
cheers,
Jeff
