I'll give him his due for his allegiance to the origins of airguns, big bore PCP's. Not much use in the U.K. though.

Considering the number of models that FX have you would think that you would see more of them about.

Very few are used in FT/HFT and I don't see many in use at my club. They appear to have nailed their colours to the mast with the "Smooth twist" barrel but that has a poor reputation in .177 and at lower power levels.

They are expensive for what they are but so are some other marks.

there were quite a few used in the Airgun challenge thing in Arizona posted online last year, I`m sure the Ted (holdover) guy used one & he knows a thing or two.

Maybe they only allowed FX guns to compete?
