To convert it you would probably have to buy an FAC rated hammer spring, open the transfer port out more, and your valve pot would be replaced with a regulator. Altaros do the FAC version, as does Robert lane. When you order you let them know what power the regulator is designed for. They may send the parts to your nearest registered firearm dealer, as they would all be FAC rated. Option two is for someone to do the job for you. XTX Air and Phil Crampton of the Rat Works are both very good and efficient tuners for this work. Phil is a designated fitter of the Lane Regulators in this Country. XTX Air can also do different regulators, but the last time I went on the XTX Air website he was having time off from this side of things for a while, while he was doing some projects. You can also get in touch with Robert lane for advice, but there are loads of YouTube videos on XTX Air - Robert Lane and Altaros regulator fitting. You will have to keep us up to date on how your project goes. Have fun.

Thanks Julian. With it not being my first language, it means a lot to me when an Englishman says I have explained something well ... in English :D

The position i'm in, is that I have an S410, that I've had for some years, and it's a great gun. However, I also have fac air on my ticket. I was going to sell my non fac S410 to fund an fac air rifle. But as I only need it around some spread out barns, with my truck near by which would have my dive bottle in.. I only need around 30 fac rated shots. Around 30 ft/lb would be good. Now i'd really like to keep my old trusty S410, and wondered if I could just buy the fac rated parts from a dealer. And if possible also buy a regulator for it. Granted I do not know the names of all the parts, but I have stripped and rebuild my S410 several times for servicing the o rings. Is it possible to buy the fac parts I need, along with a regulator, to take out the power curve? Then put the rifle on my ticket? I gather once on ticket, it stays on ticket. Which is fine by me. I've watched some video's on youtube, where a a firing pot extension is fitted. Would this form part of the fac kit?
Thanks.

Simple answer is buy a FAC version, once its on ticket its very hard to remove.
Depending on the condition's or lack of on your FAC you may only be able to use it on cleared land.
The cost of the parts and the parts you will need mean it will not be your old rifle anyway.
Just my opinion though.

Thanks for the replies folks.
I did think it would be unlikely that i'd be able to take it off ticket once it was on.
I've watched the Robert Lane regulators being fitted on you-tube. It doesn't look too difficult.
I also watched a video, where the firing pot was removed, placed in a vice, and heated gently. The long part of the pot was removed from the threaded part for some reason, and disgarded. But the threaded end was returned to its place. I thought this may be to make room for a regulator, but it wasn't. I'm not what could be achieved by doing this???
Also, how much bigger would the transfer port need to be opened out? From memory, it's around 3.2mm in diameter.
Anyhow, I'll keep you posted on how it goes.
Cheers.
