air arms tdr
Hi folks. is the cylinder and barrel the same length on the tdr as on the 410k, also how many shots from a .177 and from a .22. Thanks.
Re: air arms tdr
as far as I know the TDR is not available in .177 due to the tube giving low shot counts so I should think its shorter than any other s4** tube
Re: air arms tdr
The tdr is made in .177, the cylinder used to be short, but is now the same length as s410. Shot count about 60 in 177 probably 75/80 in 22. My btas 22 does just on 100 shots roger5
Re: air arms tdr
I have the .177 TDR, it was late onto the market as AA had to increase the barrel length and cylinder size to get the shot count up.
Cracking little rifle. From memory 60 shots is about right.

My .177 TDR gets about 60, 65, full power usable shots... you could push a few more shots but waste of time really.
The .177 TDR has the same size cylinder as the s410 carbine. it used to be a smaller cylinder, people were not happy so AA fitted the s410 carbine cylinder for more shots on the .177 model.
I believe the .22 has the smaller cylinder although can achieve about 70,75 shots... full power shots.
I use the best fittings day tripper Mini 500cc top up bottle this gives just over 2 fills for my .177 TDR, superb as I get about 200+ shots with full cylinder on the TDR and 500cc bottle which is enough for target shooting and plinking session...

The best fittings day tripper portable bottle is really handy as I can take it ether out in the field or too the range allowing 2 fills for my pcps along with their own on board cylinders full and then use my springer.
Much easier than taking the very heavy dive bottle also if your really stuck for air I fill the 500cc bottle with the hand pump...

To be totally honest, I would rather have the TDR and the 500cc day tripper bottle than a full size bottle rifle because, it is still a smaller package when taken down in correct type case with back-pack straps. awesome peace of kit. besides, full size bottle rifles have the buddy bottle stock on the end of the stock which upsets the balance of the rifle for standing shots, and a big lump to carry around.
