What .22 predator polymag pellet for S200 12 ft/lb

Hi All,

Hope some tried it already, some say accuracy sucks, but overall considering weight and other factors, which one will you choose
for 12 ft/lb S200?

Predator Polymag 16 grain
Predator Polymag 15.89 grain (shorts)

Please let me know your thoughts, hope you can share some groupings pictures or anything related.

Hi Jeff,

Both of them awa the Predator Metalmag are - IMHO - completely useless in sub 12fpe as due to their weight they will fly very slow (around 575 fps).
But use is certainly depending from the distance you are going to shoot.

Concerning accuracy there is only one judge - your barrel.

If all the other usual pellets fail you may try the "green" lead-free ones:
HN BARACUDA green 5,50 12,346
HN FTT green 5,50 10,031
RWS Hyperdome 5,50 10,957
RWS Hypermax 5,50 9,877

what was your reasoning, in the options concerning the polymags? if it.s to be more effective at despatching quarry, may i suggest the most accurate ammo in your rifle.

Yeah i agree, its just that i have a chance to try and pick one kind of polymag, so just asking arou d what should best fit an s200 12 ft lb given the 2 types of polys.

I've used these in short version for about a year now in sub12 lot better in 177 but still work in .22 what u will find and been found by many others is there same poi than Jsb Diablo think Jsb put some serious work in developing these give them a try on a Jsb Diablo zero . In fac there seriously devastating some great videos on you tube of them tested in crickets over 100 yards shows just how much damage tho do on ballistic clay have a look at airgun Brazil

Thanks dave,im looking at shorts as well as i think normal polys are heavy 16 grns, ill go for 15.89s thanks, will sure check that crickets!
