The newest Air rifle on the market.

Sat Oct 10, 2015 2:58 pm

hi, all... :D

Having been browsing the net/youtube ect, chatting with lads in the gun shops to see what new air guns maybe coming out onto the market as I fancy something different to add to my collection ect. maybe a fun rifle, something way different and totally un- traditional for fun pinking, there are loads of bull-pumps out there, they are very expensive However, I fancy another take-down rifle only for (fun shooting) something one can throw into a backpack or small gun case and do a bit of plinking. were's a full size rifle is a little cumbersome and harder to transport.

The AA,TDR is good and well made rifle as been just an s410, parts are easy to obtain nice looking rile for a take down. although, low shot count and a little inconstant.
and I already have one.

The FX Verminator mk2, do's tick all the boxes, alas it has annoying magazine and there has been complaints from owners of been temperamental, along with leaky air seals.

The the newest Air rifle coming out onto the market supposedly this month is The FX, IMPACT very ugly air rifle indeed, although very cleaver engineering this rifle looks a little like an AR15 with having the pistol grip and rails allover it. Most walnut and blued steel boys will hate the Impact with a passion, although ugly is interesting. No! price has been know yet for the impact and I can imagine its going to be very expensive and most likely have the same mag system as the Verminator. The FX Impact is very James Bond, very spy like with coming in a nice case with cutouts in the foam for all the parts as this rifle is a fully take-down rifle, you can change calibers on the Impact by just sliding in another barrel and adjusting power for each caliber used although this will not be allowed for the UK market the rifle will be set at ether .177 or .22 for UK use.

Here bellow,,, is the newest and I think the only new air rifle to be released on to the market this year.the FX impact.

problem for me (& many like me I`d reckon) is price, 900 sheets is an awfull lot of cash for a hobby, plus, that kind of money puts it up against some pretty serious competition, some with dedicated followers of gun or brand. there`s a huge choice & variety of guns out there well below that price.
I knew what I wanted, an underlever springer in .177 around £300, I waited for a 2nd hand TX to come along around that price. when the LGU popped up, wow, £350 & brand new, great reviews (please don`t start on that, guys) no brainer!
I`d like to add a bullpup to my collection, if I wait long enough, I`m certain one`ll pop up at an affordable price, but anything above 4 let alone 9,
I think puts guns nowadays out of reach for an awfull lot of buyers.

I have a Rapid mk2 in .20, it cost me 650 second hand, pellet on pellet all day and I can completely rebuild it with all seals in an hour. But, with the Yukon Photon XT fitted it's too heavy, so I bought an AA S410 TDR in .177 for the Photon, ace little rifle, light, easy to carry and pretty consistent. Bullpup??? Bullshite me finks.
The early bird may get the worm, but it's the second one mouse that gets the cheese.

Theoben Rapid Mk2 .20, Light Stream 4.5X14X44 FFP.
AA S410 TDR .177, Yukon Photon XT with 135 mm lens conversion.

I totally agree Mate, the prices air gun manufactures are charging is scary money Daystate Pulsar been the most ridiculous price at £1995... :o and is ugly and heavy.
My mate bought a half decent car for 2 grand to run about in, and Daystate are asking that money it's crazy.
