Hi all,
I'm new to this forum and about to get S510 Ultimate Sporter Extra
There are no power limits where I live so I'm getting 41J (30fpe) version
But, I'm left handed so I'm wondering if safety button on the trigger can be changed to the opposite side so I can disengage safety with my left index finger when holding the rifle?
Thank you!
Best regards

Re: S510 change side for safety button
I'm afraid you can't swap sides, as the button stops the trigger movement, by blocking the button's entry into the trigger housing.
Yes the button can be swapped round, but it's the housing that decides which side is safe and which is fire. You would have to modify the housing to change this.
I agree with the above though, just take it out, as it's a stupid place to put a safety to start with!

The best safety is to keep your finger off the trigger

Would rowan's adjustable trigger:

eliminate the need for that ugly and unpractical spring on the trigger?

Re: S510 change side for safety button
I've got a Rowan trigger on my u.s. Great quality and does away with the safety completely.i think it's a good thing as I find safety catches annoying and off putting.nothing like taking ages on a shot pulling the trigger to find the safety is still on
