maybe thats the natural efficiency of your rifle, 11.6 it is then. enjoy. others may have different needs from theirs or have a different opinion of what feels best. if it feels good, you will do well with it.

Re: PROSPORT BEST POWER!
My prosport shot its best at over the limit, were talking 1 inch spinner at 75 yards five shots in a row so no fluke, however the titan spring fitted then set and power reduced to 11.2 and its just not the same, still very good 10mm groups at 35 yards but not the same,i could have run round the field with my pants pulled over my head i was that excited, the moral is and this is my thoughts with my gun,is finding the balance of the spring against the volume of your chamber against how tight your barrel is how effiecent your piston seal is what grease and quantity used how much preload on your spring etc etc etc, Timmytree once told me it springer tuning is a black art and i think he's right, sure enough most springer will run very happy at 10.7 flbs with a lower recoil felt, trouble is newer AA springers run fac volume piston and compression tubes then fit a soft spring to reduce power to uk levels this done to standardise production for differant markets, the earlier tx 200 and ps models had smaller chambers and were uk specific
to add insult to injury iam messing with a cheap smk xs 19 .22 rifle and after a polish new delrin guides and a piston liner the shot cycle is as dead as a door nail so easy to follow the shot through where my .177 prosport is quiet jumpy but still happly very accurate

Re: PROSPORT BEST POWER!
I think a lot depends on the fit of the piston seal, the one I'm currently using is very efficient, slides easily in the comp tube under just a few ounces of weight. That gives me easy power without any washers using a well worn standard spring. Now I'm wondering whether to chop the spring to reduce the power slightly or fit a newer seal to achieve the same. Or do I fit a weaker spring with more preload and stick with the efficient seal?
I'm not sure that I want to play around with it, I've done enough of that in the past, this PS has had more strips than a Thai pole dancing club but probably with less grease!!
I might just leave it alone for 10,000 shots and then think about it.
