Dropped half a dozen long tails t'other night on our farm shoot.

We saw quite a few while doing our rounds. Steve dropped a few Corvids too but couldnt retrieve any from the dense undergrowth in the wood.

Had a really good night......

The last one in the pics is one I shot head on. It twitched as I pulled the trigger and the pellet entered its face and traveled about a third dwn its body and exited out of its left flank. Not a text book head shot by any means but it done the trick

Cheers Steve.
I've not done any rat shooting at night apart from the past month or so, but I'm loving this night vision malarkey. It's opened up a totally new ball game for me and I must say I'm rather enjoying it!

Steve is a really good teacher who enjoys watching me nail them as much as he does shooting em his self

He's a damned good shot with his 100 too
