orchard permission.

Was asked if I could clear some rabbits off 1.5 ache orchard .
shot 33 in 4 visits and still seems plenty running around .
great permission as the grass is short with the sheep grazing
it .
land owner is going round picking up rabbits , happy to see their
freezer filling up with free meat .

I gave away an orchard permission just outside Taunton about 4 yrs ago , first afternoon he shot 43 . next morning 67 and it carried on for days , bar steward didn't even bring me any rabbits round for the freezer or thank me . after a week of nothing I told him it was that last piece of land I was recommending him for.
I love sitting in the middle of an orchard and shooting rabbits for the pot ……………..

back last night 6 more and still good lot running round .
land owner goes round picking them up like he is getting fallen apples
makes me laugh still their happy with how many are gone , their freezer
is filling up .

had a few visits to the orchard perm and shot 54 rabbits land owner
is delighted with how quick their freezer is filling up with meat .

sounds like you've been getting in amongst em paul, nicely done
i love these small shoots, especially since my op, as it saves me having to walk long distances

great little perm Steve and 15 foot off the road its great .
plus a lot of sport on the rabbits .
